Bored

I'm bored. I've got plenty to do, but I'm bore. I thought that would go away when I started school, but I'm bored. I studied for my test, I worked on my commissioned art pieces, I cleaned the house, I cooked, but now I'm bored.

And you know what else? It's hot in my home. It's gotta be 80-something in here, but I'm too cheap to turn on the air conditioning yet. Plus my neighbors haven't turned theirs on. I've got the fan going, but it doesn't help all that much.

And you know what else? My birthday is this Saturday. I'm going to be 27. Twenty-seven. I know, I know, that's still young. But it feels like it's really time to start growing up. Luckily I'm doing just that.
